RAIN DELAY: Annual Community Yard Sale Moved to May 9

Due to the weather forecast for tomorrow, the Shea Terrace Civic League is officially activating the rain date for our Annual Community Yard Sale. The event will now take place on Saturday, May 9, 2026.

We want to ensure a dry and successful day for all our neighbors to de-clutter and find new treasures. While the official neighborhood event is moving, please note the following:

  • Host at Your Own Risk: You are still welcome to host an individual yard sale tomorrow, May 2nd, if you choose; however, please be aware you do so at your own weather risk.
  • Official Maps: The Shea Terrace Civic League will not be handing out the official event maps tomorrow. Maps will be distributed on the new date of May 9th to ensure all participating homes are represented during the rescheduled event.

We look forward to seeing everyone next Saturday for a great day in the neighborhood!

Yard Sale: Weather Watch!

Hi Neighbors,

We are keeping a close eye on the weather forecast for our upcoming neighborhood yard sale on May 2nd. While we are still hoping for clear skies and a great turnout, we want to make sure everyone is prepared just in case!

We have officially added a confirmed RAIN DATE of Saturday, May 9th.

If we are forced to postpone due to the weather, we will send out an email notification and post an update to the Facebook hub. If you have already registered your address for the map, your information will be included for whichever day the sale takes place.

Fingers crossed for sunshine!

Best,
Shea Terrace Civic League
